Welcome to the site of the Kamerikse Weteringloop, an annual running event through the Green Heart, featuring 6 different distances. The next edition is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026!! This recreational race includes multiple youth and adult runs through the villages of Kamerik and Kanis and along the Kamerikse Wetering. There is a distance for everyone, from young to old and from beginner to advanced, including special youth distances and adult distances of 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, and 10 miles.
Highlights
- The race is organized by dozens of enthusiastic volunteers who welcome the participants during registration, manage the traffic, and provide them with water along the way.
- The 5 km runners go straight to the finish arch on the Overstek, with a route that leads through the village center of Kamerik.
